So this year, knowing that its going to be a little crazy with two little ones and JT and I working full time decided to try something new. In that last year we kinda missed catching up on a few movies so this year its going to be a once a month movie date WITH a twist. There has to be a theme involved. For example.... if he was taking us to see Avatar, something we could do is both wear blue to the movie, go out to eat before and get a blue drink, just something that makes you put a little more thought into it besides just going to the movie.
So last night we had our first movie date for January. Jonathan planned this one all on his own so kudos to him! He came home with the rental Real Steel, two water jugs and tin foil....hmmmm. So he popped in the movie, dumped out the water, handed me a jug and said we are going to make our own robot helmets :) So for the first 15 minutes of the movie we were watching and creating at the same time. Kinda fun I have to admit! The movie was okay but spending time together to do any project was fun! So A+ baby!
